Meehan Comments on Future of Marcus Hook Refinery

U.S. Rep. Patrick Meehan (PA-07) today issued the following statement regarding the results of a study commissioned by the Delaware County Industrial Development Authority on the possible uses for the Marcus Hook refinery site:

"I applaud the County's leadership in commissioning this study which identifies several promising ventures for the site of the Marcus Hook refinery.

"One thing is clear - this region has a wealth of resources and opportunities for job creation, particularly given our proximity to Marcellus Shale.

"I look forward to working together with state and local leaders to pursue the best possible outcome for this facility and our workers."
